The terms below use both NDIC (Národní dopravní informační centrum) and NTIC (National Traffic Information Centre), the Czech and English abbreviations for the same body. Elsewhere on this site we use NDIC.

Terms of Use of the Digitised Traffic Information ​

Pilot delivery

During the pilot, the TPEG feed is delivered by CEDA Maps as ŘSD's pilot operator. Clause 2 below refers to ŘSD's general distribution interface; for the pilot, the data is the same DTI delivered over a CEDA-operated endpoint, with the same terms applying.

  1. Digitised traffic information (hereinafter referred to as "DTI") consists of traffic events (closures and restrictions, accidents, obstacles, road condition, winter reporting etc.), traffic data (levels of traffic, journey times, occupancy rates of car parks, weather information) and static data (location data for traffic information).

  2. Ředitelství silnic a dálnic s.p. (hereinafter referred to as "ŘSD") as the producer of DTI grants to the user the right to use DTI obtained via a machine interface at https://mobilitydata.rsd.cz or by a reasonable extraction of the website https://dopravniinfo.gov.cz, whereas such right is:

    a. provided free of charge; b. granted as non-exclusive; c. granted for commercial and non-commercial purposes in connection with the provision of services with added value, provided that such products or services are not contrary to the applicable legislation or incompatible with road safety; d. limited to activities that are common and reasonable and do not prejudice the legitimate interests of ŘSD; e. granted for an indefinite period of time, while ŘSD shall be entitled to unilaterally revoke the right at any time without stating any reason for such revocation.

  3. ŘSD shall not be liable for any damage (including non-pecuniary damage and loss of profit) incurred by the user or third persons in connection with the use or the impossibility to use DTI and/or the machine interface. ŘSD is not responsible for any malfunctions or failures of devices, products or services which implement DTI. ŘSD does not accept any legal responsibility for the completeness or accurateness of DTI, or for technical malfunctions, or for errors in the contents.

  4. The user may provide DTI to other (third) parties only as an integral part of the products or services provided by the user. Providing DTI in a non-processed form is allowed only with the written consent of ŘSD. In case of the provision of DTI to third parties, the user undertakes to make sure that such third party shall undertake to respect these Terms when using DTI, including the information that DTI has been provided by ŘSD according to article 5, and the information about the exclusion of ŘSD's liability according to article 3.

  5. When providing unprocessed DTI to third parties, the user shall, in an appropriate manner (such as on the user's website), publish an information that DTI was provided by ŘSD. The text of the information shall be: "The source of digitised traffic information is NTIC". In case that the user changes the DTI contents, it shall not be allowed to refer to National Traffic Information Centre (NTIC) as the source of information.

  6. The user shall not publish in connection with the use of DTI any information that would claim or imply that ŘSD is in any manner connected to the user or the product or service that use DTI, or that ŘSD is responsible for the contents of such product or service.

  7. In case of breach of the terms stated above the user shall be sent a notice. If the user does not remedy such breach within one month from when the notice was sent, ŘSD may temporarily or permanently revoke the right to access DTI, without prejudice to penalties provided by the applicable law (especially rights of ŘSD arising out of intellectual and industrial property rights).

  8. ŘSD may at any time unilaterally change the manner of provision of DTI, mainly the format thereof or a method of access. ŘSD shall make efforts to notify the users of such changes at least six months before their implementation.

  9. ŘSD reserves the right to change or amend these Terms at any time. The updated version of the Terms will always be sent to the user's email address and shall be published on the website https://dopravniinfo.gov.cz.
